Learn from Lei Feng and establish a new atmosphere 

      2023年是毛泽东为雷锋题词并发出“向雷锋同志学习”号召60周年，也是习近平总书记参观抚顺雷锋纪念馆并发表重要讲话5周年。

      The year 2023 marks the 60th anniversary of Mao Zedong's inscription for Lei Feng and his call to "learn from Lei Feng". It is also the 5th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to the Lei Feng Memorial Hall in Fushun and his important speech. 

      雷锋（1940-1962）同志是中国家喻户晓的全心全意为人民服务的楷模，共产主义战士；他作为一名普通的中国人民解放军战士，在他短暂的一生中却助人无数，伟大领袖毛泽东主席于1963年3月5日亲笔为他题词“向雷锋同志学习”，并把3月5日定为学雷锋纪念日；一部可歌可泣的《雷锋日记》令读者无不为之动容。“雷锋精神”激励着一代又一代人。

      Lei Feng (1940-1962) is a household name in China, a model of wholehearted service to the people and a fighter for communism. As an ordinary soldier of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, he helped so many people in his short life that the great leader Chairman Mao Zedong wrote an inscription for him on March 5, 1963: "Learn from Lei Feng". He also designated March 5 as the commemorative day for learning from Lei Feng. The diary of Lei Feng, which is a poignant and moving document, has moved readers. The "spirit of Lei Feng" has inspired generations of people.

      3月3日上午，全体师生举行了“学雷锋”系列活动启动仪式。仪式上，五（2）中队同学向全校师生发出了“学习雷锋好榜样”的倡议，希望队员从小学先锋，长大做先锋，动员队员践行雷锋精神，并将雷锋精神和身边的点滴小事结合起来，宣扬无私奉献的志愿服务理念，让“雷锋”的榜样力量引领队员一路前行。 

      On the morning of March 3, all teachers and students held a ceremony to launch the "Learning from Lei Feng" series of activities. At the ceremony, the five (2) squadron students issued an initiative to the whole school teachers and students to "learn from the good example of Lei Feng", hoping that the players learn to be pioneers, grow up to be pioneers, mobilize the players to practice the spirit of Lei Feng, and combine the spirit of Lei Feng with the small things around, to promote the concept of selfless volunteerism, so that The power of the "Lei Feng" example will lead the players along the way.

      3月6日，学校大队部组织各中队开展了学雷锋主题班会活动。通过召开主题班会引导少先队员们明白：雷锋精神永远不会过时。在切实感受身边好人好事的过程中，激发学生乐于助人、乐于奉献的精神。

      On March 6, the school's brigade department organised a class meeting for all squadrons on the theme of learning from Lei Feng. By holding a class meeting on the theme to guide the pioneers to understand that the spirit of Lei Feng will never go out of fashion. In the process of practically feeling the good deeds of the good people around them, the students were inspired to help others and be willing to give.

      学生利用平时搜集雷锋故事，讲一个简单的雷锋小故事。通过认识雷锋，了解雷锋的生平和事迹，来感悟雷锋精神，走进雷锋伟大的精神世界。

      Students use their usual collection of Lei Feng stories to tell a simple Lei Feng short story. Through getting to know Lei Feng and learning about his life and deeds, they will come to understand the spirit of Lei Feng and enter his great spiritual world.

      “学习雷锋好榜样，忠于革命忠于党……”。三月伊始，各班利用童声飞扬时间积极学唱雷锋歌曲，响亮的歌声在校园内回荡，学雷锋的热潮在全体学生中掀起。 

      At the beginning of March, all classes took advantage of the children's voice flying time to actively learn and sing the Lei Feng songs. The loud songs echoed in the campus and the fever of learning Lei Feng was set off among all students.

      The Reading Corner has prepared books on the theme of Lei Feng for students to read together, to gain a deep understanding of the spirit of Lei Feng, to revisit the volunteer spirit of "dedication, friendship, mutual help and progress" and to spread positive energy!
