新春时节迎盛会（New Spring Meets the Event）

    新春时节，我们又将迎来全国两会。

    In the new spring, we will also meet the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

    2018年是全面贯彻党的十九大精神的开局之年，是决胜全面建成小康社会、实施“十三五”规划承上启下的关键之年，也是改革开放40周年。即将召开的全国两会，必将发出奋进中国的最强音，向世界传递更多的信心、希望、力量。

    2018 is the 40th anniversary of reform and opening.The National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference will deliver more confidence, hope and strength to the world.

    回首2017，新时代气象万千，新思想凝聚人心，新征程催人奋进。全党全军全国各族人民团结一心、锐意进取，推动中国特色社会主义各项事业取得新的重大成就。我国经济发展独领风骚，深化改革多点突破，依法治国深入实施，人民生活继续改善，脱贫攻坚有力推进，国防和军队建设开创新局，全方位外交成果丰硕，从严治党全面推进。

    Looking back on the 2017, the new idea has gathered the hearts of the people.Our country's economic development is good.The livelihood of the people continued to improve, and society remained harmonious and stable.

    特别是，党的十九大全面总结了党的十八大以来党和国家各项事业取得的成就和经验，指明了新时代中国特色社会主义发展方向，擘画了到本世纪中叶我国发展的宏伟蓝图，开启了全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程。

    The 19th CPC National Congress summed up the achievements and experience gained by the national undertakings,opened the new journey of building a comprehensive socialist modernization country.

    在全国两会上，每一次建言献策、每一份议案提案，是智慧的结晶，是群众的心声，也是追梦路上的铿锵步履。只要我们坚定目标、清晰规划、踏实奋斗，始终秉持以人民为中心的价值理念，始终以改革创新的姿态谋划高质量发展，就一定能凝聚好各方智慧与力量，不断激荡新气象、成就新作为。

    改革开放40年来，我们以敢闯敢干的勇气和自我革新的担当，闯出了一条新路、好路，实现了从“赶上时代”到“引领时代”的伟大跨越。在新征程上，我们还得鼓起逢山开路、遇水架桥的闯劲，保持滴水穿石的韧劲，敢于啃硬骨头，敢于涉险滩，坚定不移将改革进行到底，让中华民族伟大复兴在改革开放的进程中得以实现。

    In the new journey, we have to carry out the reform to the end and let the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation be realized in the process of reform and opening.
