普及消防知识，增强防火意识（FirePrevention Campaign）

为进一步提高师生的消防安全意识以及应对突发火灾事件的应急处理能力，我校有幸邀请到了锦堰中队的消防官兵为全校师生现场讲解消防安全有关知识。

Our school invited firefighters to explain the fire safety related knowledge for the whole school teachers and students.

11月8日上午，消防官兵将消防车驾驶到操场，为同学们揭开消防车“肚子”里的大秘密。

In themorning of November 8^th,the firefighters drove the car to the playground, and they showed us the fire fighting truck.

首先，消防官兵耐心细致地为师生讲解消防设备以及正确使用灭火器材的操作程序。讲完后，还邀请老师和同学上台进行现场操作。

First,the fireman explained the fire fighting equipment and how to use a fire extinguisher.

紧接着，为了让师生进一步了解消防设备的操作，消防官兵模拟起火现场，进行实地灭火演练，然后现场检验老师们对灭火器材的使用。演习老师迅速拿起灭火器，拔其压把上的保险栓，用灭火器对准火焰根部，喷出白色粉末，顿时火熄灭了，操场上响起阵阵掌声。

Then,firefighters simulated the scene of thefire and fire drill. Some teachers also experienced the use of fire extinguishers.

11月9日是全国消防宣传日，消防与人们的生活密不可分，消防宣传也是我们人生安全的一大保障，值得我们所有人去学习。此次活动，不仅提高了全体师生的消防安全认识，增强了师生的防火意识，更让师生们懂得了在面对火灾突发状况时如何进行灭火与自救。

November 9th is the National Fire Day. Fire andour lives are inextricably linked.This activity raised our fire safetyawareness and increased our fire awareness.
